1. Your Statutory Rights

When you purchase goods from Armatura, you are protected by two key pieces of UK consumer legislation:

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a 14-day cooling-off period during which you may cancel your order for any reason or no reason at all.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires that all goods we supply are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If they are not, you have a 30-day short-term right to reject them and claim a full refund.

2. Your 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days, beginning the day after you receive the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel. You may use the model cancellation form provided in section 12 below, or you may contact us directly by email or telephone.

Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you must return the goods to us within 14 days of that notification.

3. Exclusions from the 14-Day Cooling-Off Right

The following categories of goods cannot be returned under the 14-day cooling-off right if you have broken the seal or opened the packaging:

  • Appliances where the factory seal has been broken and hygiene or health protection is relevant (for example, refrigerators or dishwashers where internal components have been accessed or water connections made).
  • Goods which become unsuitable for return due to their nature once unsealed.

In these cases, you still retain your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.

4. Your Rights for Faulty, Damaged, or Misdescribed Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the following statutory rights:

First 30 days after delivery: If the goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have the short-term right to reject them and receive a full refund.

After 30 days: You are entitled to a repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is not possible or is disproportionate, you may claim a price reduction or, as a final right, reject the goods.

These rights last for up to six years from the date of purchase in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland (five years in Scotland).

5. How to Return an Item

If you wish to return goods, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact us by email at dealer@armaturaclothing.com or by telephone on +443303788000 to notify us of your intention to return the item and the reason (change of mind, faulty, damaged, incorrect item, etc.).

Step 2: We will acknowledge your request and, where appropriate, provide you with a return authorisation and instructions.

Step 3: Pack the item securely in its original packaging where possible. Include all accessories, manuals, and documentation supplied with the product.

Step 4: Return the item to the address we provide. You must use a tracked and insured courier service. The item remains your responsibility until it reaches us.

Step 5: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or replacement as appropriate.

6. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If you are exercising your 14-day cooling-off right (change of mind), you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us, in accordance with Regulation 35(5) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

If the goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or we have made an error in your order, we will cover the cost of return shipping. Please contact us to arrange collection or to obtain a prepaid returns label.

7. Inspection of Returned Goods

All returned items are inspected within 3 to 5 working days of receipt to verify their condition and the reason for return.

If the goods have been used beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in value, in accordance with Regulation 34(9) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

8. Refund Timeframe and Method

We will refund you within 14 days of the day on which we receive the returned goods back from you, or (if earlier) the day on which you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back (for example, a tracked shipping receipt).

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used to place the order. We will not charge you any fee for processing the refund.

If you paid for delivery when you placed the order, we will refund the standard delivery charge. If you selected a premium or express delivery option, we are only required to refund the cost of our cheapest standard delivery method.

9. Exchanges and Replacements

If you wish to exchange a faulty item for a replacement of the same model, please notify us and we will arrange this free of charge.

If you wish to exchange a non-faulty item for a different product, this will be treated as a return followed by a new purchase. The original return shipping cost applies, and the new order will be subject to our current pricing and delivery terms.

10. Warranty and Manufacturer Guarantees

Many of the appliances we sell are covered by manufacturer warranties in addition to your statutory rights. These warranties are separate from and do not affect your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We will assist you in coordinating warranty claims with manufacturers where appropriate.

11. Your Responsibilities

You must inspect your delivery immediately upon receipt. If the packaging is visibly damaged, please note this with the courier and photograph the damage before opening.

You must report any damage, shortage, or incorrect delivery within 48 hours of receipt by contacting us at dealer@armaturaclothing.com or +443303788000.

Goods returned to us must be in their original condition, securely packaged, and accompanied by all components, accessories, and documentation originally supplied.

12. Model Cancellation Form

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may use this form or contact us directly. Completing this form is not mandatory; a clear statement of your decision to cancel is sufficient.
