Warranty Policy
Limited Warranty · Armatura
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. Limited Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to products purchased directly from Armatura and covers manufacturing defects and shipping errors for the original purchaser. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 remain unaffected.
2. Warranty Period and Coverage Scope
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods from delivery. Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Additionally, you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel your order for any reason.
3. What Is Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Shipping damage (reported within 24 hours of delivery)
- Incorrect or incomplete shipments
- Products not matching the description provided
Approved claims are resolved via replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
4. What Is Not Covered
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper care
- Improper installation or failure to follow manufacturer instructions
- Cosmetic damage to packaging that does not affect product functionality
- Environmental damage or normal wear and tear
- Products used for commercial purposes without prior agreement
5. Warranty Claim Process
- Contact our support team within the applicable warranty period
- Provide your order number, delivery date, and photographic evidence of the defect
- Your claim will be reviewed and evaluated within 2 working days
- An authorised resolution will be issued (replacement, repair, or refund)
6. Remedy and Resolution
We will provide replacement, repair, or refund depending on the nature of the defect and availability. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to choose between repair or replacement initially; if neither is possible or proportionate, you may claim a price reduction or final right to reject.
7. Return and Inspection
Return shipping is covered by Armatura for all valid warranty claims involving defective or faulty products. For 14-day cooling-off cancellations under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping unless the product is faulty.
8. Manufacturer Warranty Coordination
Some products carry separate manufacturer warranties in addition to your statutory rights. We will coordinate with manufacturers where applicable to ensure you receive the full benefit of all available cover.
9. Safety and Compliance
All products comply with applicable UK safety and regulatory standards. Warranty handling follows the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
10. Commercial Orders
Bulk or commercial orders may be subject to separate warranty agreements. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies primarily to consumers; business-to-business transactions are governed by the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and contract terms agreed at the time of purchase.
11. Limitation of Liability
This warranty operates alongside your statutory rights and does not seek to exclude or limit any rights you have under UK consumer protection law. Our liability for defective products is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
12. Warranty Transfer
This warranty is personal to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Record Keeping
Please retain your order confirmation, delivery receipt, and proof of purchase for warranty claims. These documents are essential to verify eligibility and process claims efficiently.
